How often Democratic presidential candidates’ Twitter followers overlap compared to how often they would overlap by chance alone. Larger bubbles mean candidates have more followers in common.

Among candidates who were considered "major" by FiveThirtyEight as of May 8. Followers for candidates' primary accounts (according to a CSPAN list) scraped from May 8-15, except for @Hickenlooper, which was scraped on June 6 to correct a coding error.
